The Kunshan “Carbon 12 Park” project, part of the Yangtze River Delta International Low-Carbon Industrial Innovation Park pilot zone and delivered by Lei Shing Hong Energy (LSHE), has been awarded the Jiangsu Habitat Environment Award.
The project represents a new model of urban regeneration, transforming idle industrial assets into a low-carbon and future-ready industrial ecosystem through asset revitalization rather than new construction.
Built on the framework of “One Park, One Corridor, Two Loops, Three Zones,” the project integrates ecological spaces, industrial functions, innovation incubation, and lifestyle services into a unified sustainable environment.
Key sustainability features include:
High-efficiency PV and Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV)
Energy-efficient building envelope systems
Integrated energy storage solutions
Smart “source–grid–load–storage” microgrid system
Real-time energy and carbon monitoring platform
These systems work together to optimize energy consumption, reduce peak demand, and enable intelligent carbon management across the entire park.
Beyond infrastructure, the project also supports R&D, innovation incubation, and emerging low-carbon industries, forming a scalable model for sustainable industrial transformation.
This recognition highlights LSHE’s commitment to advancing low-carbon urban development through integrated energy solutions and smart infrastructure.
