Lei Shing Hong Energy Successful Grid Connection of Ningbo Lishe Airport’s Solar-Storage-Charging Demonstration Project

On December 16, the integrated solar-storage-charging demonstration project at Ningbo Lishe Airport was successfully connected to the grid. For this project, Lei Shing Hong Energy supplied four LSHE-CP261L energy storage cabinets, with a total installed capacity of 1.044 MWh, providing critical support for the stable and efficient operation of the project.

As the largest solar-storage-charging supercharging station in Ningbo by footprint and the one with the most charging terminals, the Airport Charging Station is also the only new energy charging facility within the terminal area of Lishe International Airport. The station is equipped with a total of 94 parking spaces (including 2 for disabled drivers), featuring 66 DC fast-charging piles at 250 kW and 8 DC liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging piles at 400 kW. It fully supports ultra-fast and fast-charging modes, efficiently meeting the diverse and high-intensity charging needs of travelers and on-site vehicles.

The successful grid connection of this solar-storage-charging project not only significantly enhances the green travel experience at the airport but also sets an industry benchmark for energy facility construction at major transportation hubs through the practical application of clean energy and carbon reduction practices.

At the grid connection ceremony, Ms. Ye Xiaowei delivered a speech as a guest speaker. She stated that, as the provider of the project’s energy storage system, Lei Shing Hong Energy is committed to offering advanced integrated energy storage solutions. These solutions provide solid support for key transportation hubs such as airports in areas like photovoltaic energy absorption, load smoothing, and emergency backup power, helping customers continuously improve the resilience, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of their energy systems.
